Nicolai Alvareti
Nicolai is a paladin with what is called "The vision of god". He is able to see into the future and correctly predict the outcomes of actions taken. Sometimes called the "Future Prophet".
History
Nicolai was abandoned as a child by his parents when they were unable to deal with his gift. Thinking him a weird, possessed, and curesed child. Eventually Nicolai made his way to the Church of ?something? where he quickly rose through the ranks using his talents and his gifts.
However it was not until his mid 20s when his talent really began to appear. during this time there was a great war of some sort. His side was losing. However he knew that there were several long-shot ideas that would indeed pay off. These ideas however were drastically costly in the sense of expensive trolly problems.
Through his actions his side prevailed, however many dark deeds were done in order to get there, only made even remotely worthwhile because they panned out.
